Hello List, I'm a "newbie" to you today but maybe I'm really an oldie because in finding your site, I'm fairly sure I've won the lottery. I have been schmoozing around in Bellows files in New England and New York and Ohio trying to to find "the" connection and you've been under my nose all the time. Here goes: Eugene Bellows (Bellus) (Bellew) m. Lucy Cline, Fairfax, VT Children: 1)Albert Parsons Bellows, b. Dec. 16, 1846 in Fairfax, m. Margaret Lowry Moore, b. June 4, 1845 in Randolph Co., GA 2)Rogene Bellows 3)Alfred Bellows m. (Unnamed) Flood 4)Almus Bellows 5)Alvin Bellows 6)Lucy or Lucinda Bellows 7)Alonzo Bellows (Bellus) 8)Harrison & 9)Hamilton Bellows, twins. Died in infancy. 10)Perry Bellows m. Carrie Dustin Tennant My branch is 1) Albert Parsons & Margaret Moore Bellows. Their daughter Mary Anna, the second of five children, (all born in Franklin, Lamoille and Chittenden) was my grandmother. I know that this family along with 10) Perry and one of the Als (which one? not Alonzo) all emigrated and were California Pioneers-well Pullman pioneers, settling in the San Joaquin Valley. Was anybody in Vermont & surrounds wondering what happened to them all? Or was it documented there? I have a bunch of records to share offline. Not complete by any means, but getting there. What I'm wondering is and need info on are the families that did not emigrate. Does anyone have knowledge of 2), 3), 4), 5), 6) and 7)? Eugene & Lucy? What were the ancestries? I know that Bellus can be Hungarian or Lithuanian, probably others. I know that French was a household language, and assume that Lucy was of Acadian extraction. Hoping to exchange. Regards, Lowry
