I am researching my family tree and also trying to trace a very rare and serious hereditary disease called HHT (Hereditary Hemmorrhagic Telangiectasia) that runs in my family. I can trace HHT back to four possible ggggrandparents one of which is Wealthyann Johnson who was born in Burlington Vermont and immigrated to Canada as a governess. She married (in 1840s) a Canadian Minister - Rev. Robert Peden. They lived in Amhertsburg and later Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I think they had three children (?). One daughter was Jessie Lathrup Peden, my great great grandmother. I am interested in any information on Wealthyann Johnson and also I am curious to know if anyone researching in Chittendon County or anywhere else in Vermont has family members who have HHT.
