I am interested in sharing with anyone who had Vermonter/Eastern New York Roots, in the 1780's thru the 1840's that migrated to Waukesha/Washington or Dodge County Wiscosnsin. also other parts of Wisconsin. My Bowe/Bow family came to Rutland County(Pittsfield) in the late 1780's and also had a connection in the 1860's with an S.Louisa Bowe at Hinesburg, Chittenden Co in the 1860's. Daniel Bowe Jr and possibly his brother John Bowe and familes left Pittsfiled in about 1844 and came to Waukesha County Wi. It is a possibity that John went to Michigan and then Chicago, his was lost. Somewhere he married a Byington or a Boyington. My interest is in locating poeple who might have been known to each other in Vermont, stopped in Eastern New York fora few years and then hooked again in Dodge County Wisconsin and Waukesha County etc. Some surnames that are in Rultand/Chittenden Counties in the 1780 thru 1840 era and later found in Wisconsin are besides Bowe/Bow, Gould, Durkee, Parmenter, Sayles, Williams, White, Christian, Shepard/Shepherd, Barney. Intersted in discovering why they left the East. Rob Bowe
