I'm hoping someone will tell me if I should write directly to the Vermont birth records and send a check for the correct amount, even if I have no idea whether or not what I seek is there. Is the (very modest) fee for searching regardless? Reuben Parmelee was the minister at 2nd Congregational Church, Hinesburg, from 1791-94. He and his wife Laura Collins Parmelee, may have had a son William in 1794. It's William's birth record or baptismal record that I'm looking for. Any help will be much appreciated!
