I am checking in with the Law family name: John Law, b. 4/21/1761 New London, CT, d. 1841, Burlington, VT. m. Deborah ----, bef 1812, b. ?, d. 3/28/1827, Elmwood, VT. s/o Honorable Richard Law, (b. 3/7/1733) and Ann Prentiss (b.abt 1743) (10 children) I am aware of one son, Prentis by this marriage, and possibly another, John by a different marriage. John and Deborah were the only generation I am aware of in Vermont. Richard was prominent in Connecticut politics and Prentis moved to Chicago apparently after his fathers death in 1841. All of the above is tribal knowledge, I have no records that prove the details. Can anyone help? Thanks Bruce
