I am researching 2 Lamphear brothers who left Hartland, VT for Jericho area in Chittenden Co. after 1813. Sons of Robert Lamphear and Lucinda Lull, they were: Lewis Lamphear b. 1803 to 1808 Hartland, Windsor Co, VT made a freeman ca 1825. Married Anne Kinney and settled in Fly Creek, Otsego Co, NY. Major Lamphear b. 1801 Hartland, VT. Made a freeman in Jericho ca 1823. Married Roxanna Hurlbut and settled in Morristown, St. Lawrence Co., NY. Major had several children born in the Jericho, VT area including Gilbert C. Lamphear b. 1835 married Rebecca Hyde daughter of Ephraim Samuel Hyde.
