Hi.... I am researching the following surnames in Chittendend County VT: JOHN BREEN, b. in Ireland. He married Roseanna/Rose HAYES, b.abt 1837 in Ireland, d. April 22, 1886 in Underhill, VT. They had two children that I am aware of, Edward b. abt 1824 in Waxfield/Maxfield Ireland - d. May 4, 1898 in Underhill, VT. Married to Mary CAVANAGH in Burlington, VT on Feb. 14, 1858. Patrick, b. abt 1831 in Ireland, d. April 16, 1883 in Burlington, VT. Married Margaret Theresa COY June 24, 1880 in Burlington, VT. I am also researching William SALTUS, b. abt 1841. Wife was Julia (BUSH or BARTON/BARTIN) b. 1843 in Plattsburg, NY. Children were Joseph, Walter, William Freeman, Moriah Clara, Bertha Lillian, George, Moses, and Edward. I am interested in William Freeman, b. Nov. 25, 1869 in Burlington, VT. d. June 5, 1937 in Burlington. His first wife was Stella F. Tatro, they were married on June 12, 1892 in Montgomery Ctr. VT. and divorced May 27, 1913 in Burlington. His second wife was Margaret Elizabeth BREEN (her second marriage - she was married to Joseph Ovila LEGAULT). There are no records found in VT for the marriage of Margaret to either Joseph or William, but I know that Margaret and William were married in 1917.
