HI all, I am researching LYON and SPEAR in Chittenden county from the early to mid 1800's. They lived in the Shelburne/ S. Burlington area. Melzar LYON moved to Willsboro, Essex, NY around 1840. His son Richard R. LYON married Adelia SPEAR daughter of Joseph and Hannah L. (DERBY) SPEAR. Melzar's parents were William and Druzilla (SPEAR).
