I am researching the John David family of Chittenden County. John lived ca 1766 - ? In the early 1790's to ca 1813 they lived in Leeds Co. Ontario then moved back to Shelburne. Children: Ruth (Baker), Truman, Roswell, Lyman, John, Alpha, Susannah and Uri. Joseph Hamilton family of Shelburne, Chittenden Co. He moved into the area ca late 1780's. He was on the town board for many years. His daughter, Lorra (Laura) married Truman DAVID. Truman and Lorra moved to Steuben Co. NY ca 1815.
