Hello, I am new to this list, I am looking for information of the family of Benajah Case. He was born in CT about 1830, married Lydia Woodruff, sometime in late 1780's or 1790's they moved their family to Westford, Chittenden, VT. I am looking for information on their children. I would particularly like to connect a Luther Case as their son. I have a Luther Case.... he moved on to Ohio around 1810-1820, he was a widower when he married Chloe Sisson in Gallia County, Ohio in 1823. He died and is buried in Gallipolis, OH. His grave indicates that he was from Connecitcut, and was 39 when he died in 1829. I am trying to connect him to Benajah and Lydia because I have received a transcription of a letter that he supposedly wrote to his sister, who was married to Francis Northway. Also there is mention of an Edith which could have been another sister. He also mentions a Rachel who he had scarely heard from since he left Vermont. I have found leads that indicate Lucy Case Northway was the daughter of Benajah and Lydia Case, and there was another sister Esther. Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated.
