Both he and his father, also David ROBERTS (b. 1760 in MA), are listed in the Orange Township Census for 1820 and 1830. David POOLE Jr. m. Lovina POOLE in neighboring Franklin County on April 22, 1818, and most of their 14 children were b. in OH, before they moved on to Pike County IL in 1839 along with David, Sr., who lived to the ripe old age of 86.
