Am hoping that some newbies are around & maybe will have a connection to: Lawrence KELLY s/o James & Margaret LEAVY/LEARY/LEVEY b 3 Oct. 1857 - St-Jean Chrysostome, Chat., QC d 22 Jan. 1941 - Burlington, Chit., Vt. + Caroline POWER d/o William & Sophie BOUCHARD b 3 Sept. 1857 - St-Jean Chrysostome, Chat., QC d 14 April 1893 - Shelburne, Chit., Vt. m 10 Jan. 1876 - St-Antoine Abbe, Franklin Center, Huntingdon, QC This couple were in Shelburne 1876 & had 6 known children there: William Lawrence/James Powers/Emily Jane/Sophie Marguerite/Caroline Isabella & unnamed boy b/d same day of Caroline's d (apparently d in childbirth). Lawrence became US citizen 1882 in Burlington. His obit says he worked for RR most of his adult life in Shelburne After Caroline's d Lawrence then m 2nd to: Melvina LAVOLETTE d/o Charles & Rose --??-- b 24 August 1857 - ???, Canada d 1 Jan. 1932 - Burlington, Chit., Vt. m 21 Aug. 1893 - Shelburne, Chit., Vt. Lawrence & Melvina had 4 known children: Patrick Henry/Walter Joseph/Charles & Malvina Other surnames connected to these people via m's: GILBERT/NAYLOR/TUTTLE/ROGERS If anyone sees a connection here I would, sincerely, appreciate hearing from you.
