My husband has quite a few ancestors buried there. Does anyone know an address where I could write to get church or cemetery records for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in East Charlotte? I visited the cemetery several years ago when we were in Vermont and got what I could from the headstones, but I'm hoping that they have records that I could learn more from. Surnames of my husband's ancestor's buried there are: CHEVRETTE, ASH, CARPENTER, PARKER, RUSSELL, TETREAU They are all French Canadians. I have the CHEVRETTE, ASH, and TETREAU lines all traced back to the original immigrants who came to Quebec from France, but the CARPENTER, PARKER and RUSSELL ancestors buried in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel are dead ends for me at the present. Jeanne __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Talk to your friends online with Yahoo! Messenger. http://im.yahoo.com
