Posting my Surnames again, maybe someone has seen these in the searching and can help. Joseph DILLIN b.abt 1796 Loaghis Ireland wife Alice Elizabeth BRAITHWAITE DILLIN b. 1800 England. The had a daughter Charlotte b. 1832 Canada. I think they came VT thru St Albans but I'm not sure of that. In the 1840 census for Chittenden Co the name looks like it is spelt DELLEN. The brought children with them from Ireland>Canada>Vermont. The had 2 children born there, Maria and my ggrandfather also named Joseph July 2, 1837.
