Hello List, I'm searching for information of my gggrandmother, Polly SHAW, born 1777, died 2 Mar 1854. Polly married Ebenezer Morgan, born 1770, MA, died 1847. They settled at some point in Colchester, Vermont. Polly and Ebenezer are buried at Mallets Bay Cemetery, Vermont. The only child I've been able to find from the marriage is my ggrandfather, Stephen Morgan, born 1815 in Sudbury, Vermont, later moving to Colchester and died there in 1886. Stephen and his second wife Rhoda Bailey are also buried at Mallets Bay Cemetery. Ebenezer Morgan had a brother, Forest Morgan, born 1774, died 1853. Forest married Olive SHAW, born 1778, died 1861. At some point Forest and Olive Shaw moved from Vermont to Potsdam, NY and there they spent the rest of their days. Was Olive related to Polly? I ask while shrugging my shoulders? :-) Polly Shaw has become one of my brick walls and I've been unable to find more information on her. I've no idea where she was born or who her parents or siblings are. The fact is, Polly Shaw and Ebenezer Morgan have become brick walls as I've not been able to find any other children born to the marriage besides Stephen.
