Hi Harriet and list readers-- Have you run across these folks: Laura CHASE (1806-1879) married Seldon SMITH ( 1796-1879) in Chittenden Co. Both died in OH. Laura's parents were Josiah (1781-1868) and Amy (MOREHOUSE) CHASE (? - 1866) of Colchester (died in OH) The CHASE folks tie back to Aquila of Newburyport, MA but I've had no luck at all with the SMITHs.
