Hi, I'm researching the surname Taylor in Williston in 1790+. Namely the Eldad Taylor family. Eldad, Sr. was there in 1790, came from Westfield, Mass and might have gone into Conn. before VT. He marr. Esther Day in 1754 (in Mass). There children were: Rhoda, b. 1755; Eldad, b. 1756; Wyllys (spelled Willis later), b. 1758; John, b. 1760; Esther, b. 1762; Naomi, b. 1764; Ezra, b. 1765 -- all born in Mass. According to the 1790 census it appears Eldad, Sr. had at least 2 more children. I'm hoping Nehemiah Taylor would have been one of them. He was born in 1773. I've traced Nehemiah but would love to know more about Eldad's family, i.e., land records, will, town records, deaths, etc. If anyone can help me add or eliminate Nehemiah from this family I would really appreciate it.
