I'm looking for birth information on Daniel B. NICHOLS born approximately 1822 in one of the towns on the Vermont side of Lake Champlain perhaps Burlington. He married Harriet B. Thatcher in 1857 in Ticonderoga, Essex County, NY and them moved to Mazon, Grundy County, IL. He lived there until sometime in the mid 1870's when he and two children, Henry and Lucy, returned to Vermont. Lucy married James George Blanchard, Jr in September 1881 in Ticonderoga, Essex County, NY. Daniel died in Ticonderoga, Essex County, NY on December 19, 1894 and is buried there. Does this ring a bell with anyone? If so I would appreciate any help available .... this ancestor is one of those who have been eluding me for a long time. Steve Blanchard
