Searching for information on Lyman Henry Rogers who married Sept.15 1868 in Westford to Elizabeth Defoe. He the was 23 and a resident of Brome, Lower Canada. He died eight months later 20 May 1869 in Fairfax of typhoid lung fever and was buried in the cemetery at Sanderson's Corner. Lyman Henry Rogers was born 14 Feb. 1846 in S.Stukely, Quebec, the son of William Henry Rogers and Sarah Frances Arminia Brooks (born 1825 in the U.S.). A Sarah F. Brooks witnessed the marriage in Frelighsburg, Que. in 1845. Eunice Sanderson, the wife of John Rogers of Bridport (Ferry-owner), was the grand aunt of this Lyman Henry Rogers.
