I am researching the Benoir name, Joseph, Pierre, Nelson and Usam (?). I know Joseph immigrated to Burlington Vt. 1851 when he was 7 yrs. old. They came from Canada and lived in Montreal and maybe Nova Scotia. On the Burlington page Joseph is listed on Household Heads 1882-1883. Joseph owned textile mills later in his life and had many patents on textile mach. Any information would be appreciated. Sara Jean
