Sarah Place Chase married Chester Sherman on 3 Sept 1868 in Huntington VT. She died in 1914 and is buried in Maplewood Cemetery in Huntington. Who were her parents? Was this a 2nd marriage for her? Her tombstone lists her as Sarah S. I am assuming that the S is a middle initial as her son is listed as David C. right underneath on the same headstone.
