I am looking for confirmation of the date of death for John GODDARD, said to have died July 26, 1812 at Milton, VT (b. December 13 - 15, 1764) I think his wife was Lucy STILES (b. December 21, 1762) and have a hunch that she married a John SHAW after John GODDARD's death. Their children supposedly are: Betsey GODDARD, b.July 1776 Nathaniel GODDARD, Jr., b. October 26, 1789 Polly GODDARD, b. October 10, 1792 Alpheus GODDARD, b. February 26, 1793 Caleb GODDARD, b. April 16, 1798 in Lyman, NH, my husband's ancestor William GODDARD, b. July 22, 1800 John GODDARD, b.September 22, 1800 Benjamin Franklin GODDARD, b.July 22, 1804 Please notice the problems with the birth dates.
