It was suggested recently that we re-post our brick walls, so here goes.... Mine is the HALLIHAN/HALLAHAN FAMILY from Burlington. James Hallihan married Honora Hennessey. Both were from Ireland..he from Waterford Co. I don't know when or where they were married. They may have come to VT through Canada...not sure. They had at least 4 children born in Burlington between 1847 & 1857...John; Mary; Lawrence & James. Cannot find a death record for either James or Honora. Also seeking info about Lawrence who was my Great-Grandfather & who went to Chicago sometime after 1878 & never returned to his family.

I've been reading the brick wall posts, hoping maybe I could find some kind of connection, but alas, nothing at all. We are searching for the parents of Stephen Tuttle, born in Burlington in 1814. This is all we have from the census records. Any ideas where to go next? This is all so new to us, we don't really know how to search. Thank you, Kris Tuttle
