Am trying to locate information on the family of Daniel COTA and Joanna BETTIS who are buried in Essex Jct., VT. One son Daniel who married Margaret White and two of their children are also buried there. Does anyone have a connection to any of these. Other children were: Nancy, Mary Ann, Henry, Cynthia E.,Emma E., Eliza L., John H., Ella J., and Mitchell H. Have info on Mitchell's family which I would be glad to share. I was reading Barbara Maudlin's query and noticed you referred her to the 1800 census. Do you have other census records to look up? I am particularly interested in the 1870 census. Could you look for a Patrick Campbell for me? I know there is a Patrick Campbell in Enosburgh, Franklin, Vermont in the 1860 census, but I'm not sure if he is my ancestor. My Patrick had a daughter on Nov. 15, 1860 named Bridget Campbell, who would not be listed in the 1860 records because she was born after the enumeration, and since the only way I have to confirm which Patrick is mine is through her presence in his family, I need later census records. The 1870 is preferable, but the 1880 is okay too. The Campbells may have resided in Underhill. What info do you have available in the census records? Ages? Places of birth? Addresses? Hello I am looking for the parents, brothers and sisters of Betsy M. Hooper. She married to Chauncey W. Smith about 1857. She had Charles Nathan Smith b 13 Oct 1858 Jericho, Chittenden Co., VT. Carrie Elizabeth Smith b 1 July 1861, Jericho, Chittenden Co., VT. The family moved to Brush Creek, Fayette Co., Iowa about 1869. Betsy died 1893 and Chauncey died 1923. We are looking for info on Peter Smith. He was b. March 18, 1895 we think in Burlington Vt. He died Aug 19,1956 Burl.VT. He had a brother, George Smith. Peter's last known residence was on King St. in Burlington. He was in WW1 and is buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetary, North. Ave. Burl. VT. He was married to Lula Belle Cady (Priest ?) she died in 1964, Riverside Ave, Burlington VT. He adopted Lula's son, Louis Henry Cady. We have no idea if Lula was married before Peter Smith...some records seem to indicate she was married to (last name) Priest. We have no idea who Peter's family is or where the originate from.
