    1. Joy family
    2. I am looking for information on the family of David Joy, son of Silas Joy and Margaret Masury. He was born in 1765 in Hingham, MA, moved to Williston, VT, married Eunice ______, either in Hingham or Williston and had at least seven children born in Vermont in the 1790s and early 1800s. I have the names of seven children, Albert, Alvin, Levi, Sally, Mary F., and Sophia but very few dates. David had a brother, Masury Joy, who married Abigail Bates in Burlington in 1816. Both brothers later moved to Massena, NY and are buried there. One of the children, Sally, married Royal Eddy in Williston in 1824. She was my ggggrandmother. If anyone has any information on this family I would appreciate hearing from you. Mim Aline

    1. Michal and Mary Denuhu and family
    2. Kathie Donahue
    3. I'm looking for anyone that could help me in a search for my G ggg grandfather. According to information that my father remembers is that they came from Ireland through Canada in about 1845. They were on there way to Troy, N.Y. and one of the childern got sick and they stop in Burlington to see a doctor and stayed. They settle in Milton, were the Donahue homestead was located. My father was born in Essex and grow up in Jericho. I need to find out were in Ireland they came from. Michal and Mary evidently did not take out citizenship, nor did any of their childern. I have contacted a number of different sources and they have no record of citizenship for any of this family. I need to find some that might still be alive that are cousins or someone that might still know the Donahue family that lived in Jericho, that can help locate this information.

The Department Address is: Animal Sciences Dept, Carrigan Bldg, UVM, Burlington VT 05405 Dr. Bramley may be able to locate more info for you. 3. Angus W. Campbell resided in Enosburg in 1882. He was a laborer at that time. The Vt Vital Records Division can search for a birth certificate for $7 anywhere in VT. You can download the application form at the following URL: http://www.sover.net/~mbevins/chit_vt.htm Give it a try. The census recors for VT after 1860 are not indexed.
