Thomas Parker, who settled in Reading, Mass; about 1635, where the four preceding were born; name of mother, Hepzibah Curtis, daughter of John Curtis, of Dudley, Mass.;lived with father until nearly twenty-one, working on his and neighboring farms; went to school 3 months in summer from five to nine, and 3 months in winter, from seven to eighteen; began to teach school at nineteen, and taught the 8 following winters; fitted for college at Jericho Academy, Bradford Academy, and under the private instruction of Rev. He married my gg grandfather's sister, Sophia Sally Johnson, in 1835 in Geauga Co. OH. His parents (again, according to his obituary) were Edmund Parker & Tabitha Curtis. Huntington, Vermont: The first dwelling house, erected in what is now the north village, was erected for Elenzxer Ambler in 1804 and the next for Jehiel Johns in 1806. That of Ambler;s occupied the site in part of the Green Mountain House, the present village hotel----removed in 1826 across the road south, where it stands as the nucleus of the dwelling-house of JUDGE SAYLES. Richmond, Vermont: Business Men: The mercantile business is now carried on by H.A. Hodges, Solomon Green, J. P. Barnum, Firman & Gorton, E. B. Green and SAYLES and Eddy, at Jonesville; and to these may be added Joshua Jewell;s furniture store, and Dr. Wm. Root's drug store. Military Chapter: It states: A regiment of cavalry has been raised by voluntary enlistment under a commission of the secretary of war to Col. L. B. Platt. I have authorized Capt. L. R. SAYLES of Leicester, to raise a squadron of cavalry, to form a part of a regiment apportioned to the several New England states to be organized, uniformed, and equipped, by Gov.     3. How do I find information on my great grandparents George and Eva Jane Robinson. My grandmother Francis C. Robinson was born around 1901 to 1904. Some of the other children names were Marion, Mildred, Doris, William, Donald, Kenneth, Fred and Carl. The only other information is they did live in Milton Vermont. Thanks Steve
