    3. Well, I'm not the list admin, but I thought I'd add my two cents. It sure sounds to me like you both subscribed to the Chittenden County Vermont mail list. That being the case, you "should" get all the mail that is sent to the list by its subscribers. Is this a possibility? 1. Re: Wanted!!!!
    2. Pam, A good source for used books is www.bibliofind.com. I just checked for the title you wanted, and they don't have it at the moment. But if you don't find it from another source it's worth checking back periodically. I think they also might have a "wish list" where you can post titles you want and be notified if one turns up. 1. Roll Call: BARTON + PEASE
    2. Jane T.
    3. I really only have two names: Andrew BARTON who m. Mary PEASE, perhaps about 1797. They had a dau, Anna, b. Dec. 1801. I could be very wrong, but I think that Mary's father might have been William PEASE. And, because a Caleb BARTON d. in Charlotte, where Andrew was at one point, I am toying with the idea that maybe Caleb was Andrew's father. Should that be the case, they originally were from RI. 1. Re: Arthur Charles BINGHAM/Augusta Sylvia LARSON
    2. Dick Carter
    3. I awoke this morning inundated with approximately 175 VT posts...With all this activity, surely someone can help me... I am seeking information on a couple, who lived in St Albans, Essex Junction, and Highgate...Arthur Charles & Augusta Sylvia Larson BINGHAM. Augusta born in Goteborg Sweden 1885, Arthur born 1880 in Highgate... Arthur was a railroad worker when their children were born... Margaret 1905, stillborn 1906, and Roland Arthur Bingham 1907... Augusta disappears about 1912, perhaps died, or divorced in the St Albans area... This has been a brick wall for 30+ years... I spoke with an elderly ROLLIN BINGHAM about 1970, who remembered that they had "parted ways" in the St Albans area, about 1912... This is my wife's family, who remembers that her father was unable to obtain employment during WW II, because the Dr who delivered him, delayed a number of years before the reported the birth to the state, and Roland could not even prove that he had been born... Is there a "Local" connotation to the phrase "parted ways".. I take it as separated, or divorced... But, can find no record....Is there a record of a remarriage??? Any help will be greatly appreciated... Dick Carter rcar37@prodigy.net Dick Carter rcar37@prodigy.net

    1. Lemiere dit Courcy family
    2. Hi: I am descended from Octave Courcy, born in Quebec about 1828, He was the son of Joseph NIcolas Courcy and Modeste Boisbriant. Octave married Helene Berube, in St. Flavie, Rimouski, Quebec on 26 November 1850. In the 1851 census, the family is living at Metis. in 1861 they are living at St. Octave de Metis, by 1869 the family is living in Burlington, Vermont where Octave's wife, Helene, died November 16, 1869. Their children were: Charles Augustin Courcy, born bet 1850-1852 in Metis Jean Courcy, born abt 18 Jan 1853 in Metis Alexandre Courcy, born abt 1855 in Metis Marie Courcy, born abt 9 November 1856 in Metis Lea Courcy, born abt 31 January 1859 in Metis Georgina Courcy, born abt 1860 in Metis Marie Celina Courcy, born abt 8 January 1861, died abt 4 March 1861 in St. Octave de Metis. Joseph Courcy (Lemere), born abt July 1865, unsure of Place of birth ( he was my great-grandfather) On 12 September 1870, Octave, using the name Lemiere, married Julie Pepin in St. Joseph's Church, Burlington, Vermont. Most of the children by his earlier marriage apparently stayed in Burlington but sometime in the early 1870's, the family moved to Massachusetts taking only Joseph. In the 1880 census, the family is listed in Millbury, Mass. with children Henry, born about 1874, Emma, born abt 1875, Agnes born abt 1876, George, born abt 181878 and Mary, born abt 1880 as well as Joseph Lemere. Octave and Julie were listed as deceased when Joseph applied for marriage license to marry Winnie Jannette Gilmore on 10 November 1886 in Troy. New Hampshire. I'd like to exchange information with others who may be descended from Octave or Joseph NIcolas or their descendants. I also have info on siblings of Octave. Ted Richard
