I am looking for confirmation of the date of death for John GODDARD, said to have died July 26, 1812 at Milton, VT (b. December 13 - 15, 1764) I think his wife was Lucy STILES (b. December 21, 1762) and have a hunch that she married a John SHAW after John GODDARD's death. Their children supposedly are: Betsey GODDARD, b.July 1776 Nathaniel GODDARD, Jr., b. October 26, 1789 Polly GODDARD, b. October 10, 1792 Alpheus GODDARD, b. February 26, 1793 Caleb GODDARD, b. April 16, 1798 in Lyman, NH, my husband's ancestor William GODDARD, b. John Timothy Kelly of Rutland marrid Margaret Ellen Lynch of Burlington, I have never been able to find any papers on the marriage although the family story say that they were maried at the Cathedral. They 4 children in Burlington, John Edward B 3-29-1900, Francis B 2-10-1902, Walter Robert B 10-19-1904 and a Female child still born B 2-2-1906. My 2nd Great Grandfather, Michel Paquet dit LaVallee a.k.a. Michel LaVallee settled in Jericho VT before 1850 with his wife Marguerite and 8 children: Celina, Mezipe (my GGF), Delia, John, Norbert, Victor, Sophronia and William. Mezipe (Missip) married Rosalie Charron - Cabana in St-Joseph parish, Burlington VT on 12 Nov 1855 and lived in Essex Junction. They had 6 Children I am aware of: a baby that died at birth in 1862, Charles 1866 (my Grandfather), Marie abt 1868, Freddy 1869, Misyppe & Rosalie dates unknown.
