Hello Vermonters! : ) I have made a call to the Town Clerks office in Barnet, to clear up a few things. See below: The Index I am send to all you folks is the Vital Records Index for the towns of: East and West Barnet, Mc Indoe falls, and Passumpsic, these records are for the people that were Born, Married, Died, or buried in the above towns and the Town Clerks office holds these records. Example: If you lived in Mc Indoe Falls, Vermont and were born in St. Johnsbury,Vermont, the Town Clerks office in Barnet would hold the records. If you were born in New Hampshire, but lived in one of the towns above, you would be in the Town Clerks record in Barnet. I have called the Town Clerks Office in St.Johnsbury, and inquired about there Vital Records Index, They are still all on Index cards and have not made any plans in the near future to put them on Computer, but you can call them and they will do a look up for you!
