I am interested in *Palmer,* and migration from Canada, earlier from England (Devon?). I'm not sure if my line is connected to the family recently mentioned by Dick Bolt or not. It is very difficult to tie my Frank Palmer into any lines mentioned, because I don't have any other names connected with him. Except his mother, Rose Smith and her parents: Edward and May Smith. They were actually in Essex county (Victory) though I think that may be Caledonia County today, isn't that right? Speaking of Palmers (I'm not sure if I mentioned this before), does anybody know anything about the Palmer family that runs the cleaners and laundry in St. Johnsbury? That business has been there a long time, judging from the sign.
