Just a note for those of you who may request a look-up in Caledonia County. Most of the information is located by reference to the town, not the county. Many of the published sources do not have indexes, and to do a look-up often involves going through the text. "Childs" is an example of this, and if we don't have the name of a town or towns, it is quite difficult. Dates are also important -- to the extent you can give us a date or at least a time frame. Also, if you have names of spouse, siblings, etc., it may be helpful. In other words, give us as much of the essential information as you have and it will help at this end.
