Cheryl, I don't have any info at all on any BALL line but did scan through your letter for other surnames it might have included. Still didn't find anything there, but did notice one person born in 1865 and lived in Wheelock VT. and had this thought: isn't it interesting that, although we don't know each other etc,, that since my DH's ggrandmother was also born in Wheelock in circa 1860, their families knew each other? I have never been to Wheelock - yet anyway - but am sure it isn't a very large place. And even smaller back then! I know you were looking to see if those BALLs might tie into your line but just thought it an interesting thought...
