John LOVE, supposedly from Londonderry, VT, settled in Wheelock with his wife Sarah EMERSON and had a large family. Child's Gazeteer says that John left the area about 1828 but other sources say John and Sarah remained in Wheelock, died there, and are buried in the S. Wheelock Cem. His daughter, Mary "Polly" LOVE married Charles B. BARBER. Looking for more information about the LOVES, where they came from, where they went to. Of the 11 children, one died young, I have marriages for two - but the rest seem to have vanished!
