Hi! Just found out that my Jesse Leavenworth Reynolds.b 1796 --born in Vermont. Did alot of Internet hunting..Caledonia seems likely.Oral tradition has it that Jesse came from a long line of Jesse's.I think they may have been Jesse Leavenworth's....a family name that can be found in Danville and Peacham. MY Jesse named his first born son Enoch Reynolds.I see that there is an Enoch Reynolds in Barnet in 1800.He could have been my Jesse's father. How far is Barnet from Peacham and Danville? I THINK..(no verification ) that Enoch Reynolds of Barnet may have married a Miss Leavenworth (probable father Jesse Leavenworth)..and they had a son named Jesse Leavenworth Reynolds. Does anyone have these names in their families? cathy
