Greetings, I am new to this group and am hopeful that we can be of mutual assistance to one another. I am looking for information on my great-great grandparents Isaac Brock and Isabel Kennedy. I have some potential links with Isaac's ancestors but am blocked with Isabel. I am looking both for ancestors (and brothers and sisters and their families) and any information in regards to family history. I know that Isaac was a farmer in Pawnee City, Ne, and Isabel, his second wife, was a homemaker. I reaaly need some help on Isabel's side and need some validation/extension for Isaac and Walter Brock. I do understand that Walter Brock senior was one of the founding fathers of Barnet and the first Justice of the Peace there. Please help if you can. My family is having a reunion to commemorate my folks 50th wedding anniversary in a few weeks and we would all greatly appreciate any assistance/info you could provide. Sarah Adelaide died in Pawnee City, Pawnee Co, Ne on 3 Dec 1948; she was 72. Sarah Adelaide married John Frederick Martin. Second Generation 2 Isaac Brock. Born on 15 Jul 1824 in Barnet, Caledonia, Vt. Isaac died in Pawnee City, Ne on 23 Dec 1901; he was 77. On 4 Mar 1875 when Isaac was 50, he married Isabel Kennedy, in Barnet, Caledonia, Vermont. 3 Isabel Kennedy. Born on 25 Sep 1834 in Ryegate, Caledonia, Vermont. Third Generation 4 Walter Brock. Born on 8 Sep 1778 in Barnet Twp, Caledonia, Vt. Walter died aft 1825; he was 46. Born on 8 Sep 1778 in Newbury, Orange, Vermont. Walter married Sally Nutter. 5 Sally Nutter. Born bef 1794 in Barnet Twp, Caledonia, Vt. Fourth Generation 8 Walter Brock. Born in 1743 in Glasgow, Scotland. Walter died in West Barnet, Caledonia Co, Vt on 8 Nov 1825; he was 82. Buried in Nov abt 1765 when Walter was 22, he married Janet Stuart, in Glasgow, Scotland. 9 Janet Stuart. Born on 22 Feb 1748 in Scotland. Janet died in West Barnet, Caledonia, Vermont on 25 Jun 1797; she was 49. Buried in Jun 1797 in West Barnet Cem., West Barnet, Caledonia, Vermont. 10 Christopher Nutter. Fifth Generation 18 Claudius Stuart. Born abt 1711 in Old Kilpatrick, Dunbartonshire, Clyde, Scotland. Claudius died in West Barnet, Caledonia Co, Vt on 17 Dec 1811; he was 100. Buried in Stuart Cemetery. On 17 May 1747 when Claudius was 36, he married Janet Mc Rab Spencer, in Glasgow, Lanark, Scotland. 19 Janet Mc Rab Spencer. Born abt 1726 in Scotland. Janet Mc Rab died in Scotland abt 1761; she was 35. Sixth Generation 36 Claudius Stuart.
