Hello list- I recently found out that the cause of death of my gg grandfather was homicide. Edgar HAYES died Dec. 27, 1885 in or near Lyndon, Vermont, and I'm looking for an article or obituary about the homicide. Can some kind soul tell me what newspaper may have printed something about the incident? Are there any indices for any of the local newspapers of that time? Thanks for your time, Lorie
