Dear Carol, I doubt we have a connection but I have a Menirva R. STROBRIDGE who married my ancestor Orval Henry PHILBRICK on 8 Sep 1865 in Kankakee County, Illinois. They had a son named Frank who was born 14 Dec 1866 in Iowa. Orval was born 13 Oct 1845 in Vermont. I have no dates, places, or parents for Menirva. Do you see anything that looks familiar?
