Could someone local please give me the current name of a cemetery known as "East St. Johnsbury" in the early 1800s? Two of Joel Harvey's three wives are reportedly buried there per Vermont VRs microfilmed records : Susan(nah) FARR HARVEY b. 10 Feb. 1779 Chesterfield, Chesire, NH d. 6 May 1807 St. Johnsbury, Caledonia, VT Betsy BOWEN HARVEY b. 18 Sept 1785 Waterford?, Caledonia, VT d. 26 Aug 1835 St. Johnsbury, Caledonia, VT I have reviewed GNIS listing of cemeteries for Caledonia Co., VT and there is no "East St. Johnsbury" cemetery listed. Looking at the physical location and date of establishment for the listed cemeteries would lead me to believe that "Hill Cemetery" on the GNIS listing is the likely candidate but I would appreciate confirmation from someone in the area. If it is indeed Hill Cem. I will be able to try to find several more direct line ancestors who are recorded as being buried there.
