    3. Harman and John -- Regarding William Gray m. Hannah Foss, the only thing I can offer is from a manuscript genealogy on the Foss family by Guy S. Rix, Concord NH January 1917. This can be located at the NH Historical Society. On page 22, Samuel Foss m. Mary Dowrst and settled in Barrington, NH, buying land there in 1753, 1756, 1763 and 1772. (Note: Both the Grays and the Fosses had previously lived in Newington, NH.)They had children. The information below is all that is given. James Solomon Samuel Hannah m. William Gray and had sons and 3 daughters. He was killed in the Revolution in 1777, age 50. Abigail m. Benjamin Holms and died in Rochester NH Mary Priscilla Sarah m. Benjamin Babb of Barrington. Also, John, you say that Henry who m. Eunice Goodwin was the son of James and Hannah (Foss). How do you know that? Although I have not been studying this family for years like Harman has, I have spent a lot of time on them over the last 6 months, and I have not found any information on the parentage of Henry. I would be interested in the family of John Blake Gray. He went to Iowa, is that correct? Cindy Walcott Grand Isle, VT
