Welcome to the crowd!! the first Tamsen or Tamson or what have you, was married to James Gray Sr. The last name of this Tamsen is lost in antiquity I guess, but William Gray, James Gray's 3rd son, and Hannah Foss had 8 children the 4th was named Tamsen. I suppose after her grandmother. She was born 1758 and married a Hilley or Hillery. I hope I have you sufficiently confused as I hate to be the only one with this problem. ...John ([email protected]) [email protected] wrote: > Hello Mr. Gray. > > I was impressed with your information. > > My name is Arthur Kay & I live in Mesa Arizona. > > I am very confused with data from the Sheffield Vermont area. > > My Great Great Grandparents were. > JOHN SIMPSON & LYDIA (GRAY) SIMPSON > of Sheffield Vermont.
