Hi Barb, In the Centennial Edition of the DAR Patriot Index, (pg. 1625) Dr. Reuben Jones is listed as having been born 3-9-1745/1746 (actually in Rockingham, Windham Co., Town Clerk's, Lyman S. Hayes, notes born in 1747) in MA, died 1-7-1833, married Eunice. Physician/VT. In the Rockingham Church records Dr. Reuben, Eunice and three sons are recorded. Lyman Hayes also identifies him as the one who participated in the Westminister massacre, the first legislatures, etc. The sketch on Rockingham that is online says he marched with the group to Ticonderoga. He died and was buried in Keeseville, NY, Jan. 7, 1833. Sorry, this is not my ancestor, and I do not know if this Dr. Reuben Jones is related to your Reuben Jones.
