Friday, after a long illness, will be held in St. Paul's Church in Manchester Center Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Martin C. Clancy of St. Paul's officiating. He was born in North Bennington, Vt. Aug. 10, 1905, son of Patrick and Sarah (Gillespie) Phalen. He had lived in Manchester most of his life, and graduated from Burr & Burton Seminary in 1925. He is survived by a brother, Leo Phalen of Albany, N.Y. Calling hours will be held in the Brewster Funeral Home Monday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Father Clancy will recite the Rosary at 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Factory Point Cemetery in Manchester Center, Vt.
