Thomas Harris probably was married in Bennington, Bennington Co., VT in 1811 as he was appointed as a hayward at the 1812 town meeting. In 1813 Achsah Harris and child was warned out of Woodford, Bennington Co. In 1816 Achsah Harris was appointed guardian to Flavilla Harris, daughter of Thomas Harris, deceased, late of Bennington. Does anyone recognize this family? In the 1800 census I find a George Harris living in Bennington with two males under 10, one male between 10 and 16, and one male 45 and over, one female between 26 and 45.
