    3. Thomas Harris was listed as a resident of Dorset in Oct. 1790 on a petition over a Town line dispute. Also residing in 1780 at Bennington 1780; served in Capt. Wood's Company. There is also a Thomas Harris listed on a petition for a town to be around the Ft Edward area of NY, with no record of any legislative action being taken or where the petitioners were from in Vermont. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joann H. 3. Thanks, Patrick, I'm not sure this is the same Thomas; he is very elusive! There is a Thomas Harris in the 1810 Arlington census with one male under 10, one male 26-45, one female between 10-16 and one female 26-45. I don't think this is the one who appears to have married about 1811, unless his wife and two children died and he married again to Achsah. There is also a Thomas who served in the War of 1812.
