DOUBLE FUNERAL FOR BEECHER BOYS St. Peter's church was filled with any mourners Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock for the double funeral of DONALD and PAUL BEECHER, aged 12 and 14, who were fatally injured Thursday in an auto-bicycle accident near their home in the Lyons district. A prayer at 3:30 o'clock from their late home preceded the rites at the church. The Rev. Parker C. Webb, rector of St. Peter's church, conducted the funeral with the Rev. Norman Egerton, former acting rector here and now at Hasbrouck Heights, N. J., assisting. There were scores of beautiful floral tributes and the service at the church was one of the most largely attended funerals held in any years. The pall bearers for Donald were ; John Seale, cousin , John Kennedy, Richard LeClerc and Robert Olin, all schoolmates and chums. The bearers for Paul were : Robert Seale ,cousin, Merton Cross , James Howe and Raymond LeClerc, neighborhood playmates. The commitment was at Park Lawn cemetery, where the Rev. Webb and Rev. Egerton officiated. Among those from out of town who attended the services were; William H. Beecher and Mr. and Mrs. Thornton Beecher of Springfield, Mass.; Mr. and Mrs. Edwin L. Bigelow of Manchester Center (Vt); Pvt. Frank S. Beecher , Brooklyn,N.Y. ; Mr. and Mrs. John Sparks of Brattleboro (Vt) ; Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Shea of Hoosick Falls, N.Y. ; Dr. A. N. Marsh and family of North Adams, Mass. ;Mr. and Mrs. George Vogel, George H. Vogel, Miss Frances Bridger and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Koschi of Pittsfield, Mass. A number of friends also attended from North Bennington, South Shaftsbury and the surrounding communities.
