Sheldon, who died in Salem (N.Y.), January 15, was held from the Church of Christ (of which she was a member for sixty years) Saturday afternoon, Rev. Richard Eaton officiating. Charlotte Beebe was the daughter of King and Ruth Nelson Beebe, and was born in the old brick house still standing on the O. J. Beebe farm. She married De Witt Sheldon of New York, who died many years ago. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Emmeline (sic) Wilson of Salem (N.Y.) Those present at the funeral from out of town were Mrs. Henry Beattie of Johnsonville, Mrs. Mary Nelson and Mrs. Kate Nelson of West Pawlet, Vt., Mrs. Fred Sweet of Granville, N.Y., J. A. Apperly of Troy, N. Y., Mr. Hannah Fraser and Miss Winnie of Salem, N.Y.,and Mrs. James E. Norton of Granville, N.Y.
