    3. I'm a historian for the small Missouri county of Douglas. My fellow county historian and cousin, Cinita Davis Brown, has loaned me a very old book (1837) by Sarah Robinson, Bennington, VT. entitled "Genealogical History of the Families of Robinsons, Saffords, Harwoods, and Clarks. The book cover is quite worn and the body has considerable water marks - but the book is complete and legible. We do not know what family might have brought this book to Missouri, and we have a natural curiosity about that. We have some old-time Robinson and Clark families, but no Saffords or Harwoods, of which I'm aware. Looking through the book, I noted the Kellogg family which has a history in our county. Is this an original book that is being sought back in your area, or is it common-place there? Any help would be appreciated. 3. Dear Mr. Brown, How fascinating that you mention this book. The Town Historian for the Town of White Creek, NY (we border Bennington County VT) is Marilyn Robinson, who indeed is related to the Robinsons, Saffords, etc. Her email address is MRobi47966@aol.com. and a volunteer for the genealogy library at the Bennington Museum. I will forward your email to her, and I suggest you contact her, too. Wendy Baker
