Hi, George, Your Joseph R. Clark is in Rupert township in 1910 too - page 143, but he's listed as Ralph Clark. (I assume Ralph was his middle name.) Ralph Clark 35, married once & for 9 yrs, born WA, father born VT, mother born OR Addie Clark, 35, married once & for 9 yrs., 5 children, 4 still living, born VT, father born VT, mother born NY Grace Clark, 6, born VT Rena Clark, 6?, born VT Robert Clark, 3, born VT Fannie Clark, 1, born VT I wasn't able to find Joseph (or Ralph) Clark in the 1900 census.
