Source,Rutland Vt. herald--Fri. Oct. 9,1953. PITTSFORD, Vt. Oct. 8--Karen V. McDevitt, 63, of Utica, N.Y., a former Pittsford, Vt.resident, died today. Born in South Dorset, Vt., Dec. 17, 1889, he was the son of Patrick and Sarah (McLaughlin) McDevitt. He is survived by his wife, the former Katherine Hoffman ; two sons, Robert of Whitesboro, N.Y. and George of Rochester, N.Y.; a twin brother, Mathew of Rochester, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Philip Howe of Keene, N.H., and Mrs. A. J. Wimett of Pittsford, V.; and three grandchildren. Services will be held in Utica, N.Y. Monday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Utica.
