    2. Source, Rutland Vt.Daily Herald--Sat. July 7, 1934. MANCHESTER CENTER, Vt., July 6--Ernest Hamilton, 48, died suddenly about 1 o'clock this morning from acute indigestion. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the house at 2 o'clock and at the M.E. church at 2:30. Rev. George W. Folsom, pastor of the M.E. church will officiate assisted by Rev. C. M. Curtis of Pittsfield, Mass., a former pastor here. Mr. Hamilton was born in Sandgate, Vt. on September 1885, son of Ezra Hamilton and Ida Bentley Hamilton. His boyhood days were spent in Sandgate, Vt., but he had lived in Manchester for about 30 days (?). He leaves a wife, Lucy Hayes Hamilton, and a daughter, Mrs. George Bushee of Manchester Depot, Vt.; a sister, Mrs. Clifton Mears of Arlington, Vt. also several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in the Center cemetery here. Mr. Hamilton attended to his work as usual on Thursday and on Thursday evening went for a drive with his wife, but soon after retiring was taken ill and Dr. Kelley was called, reaching the home in a few minutes after the call.
